Materials in these cartridges meet F . D . A . regulations for potable water, beverages and foods . They contain extra high quality granular activated carbon designed to remove or substantially reduce chlorine and other chemicals, unpleasant tastes, odors and sediment from liquids

Combination Wound and Carbon Cartridge Gas Models
Designed to remove undesirable odors, particulate contaminant, oil/water mists and smoke from air and other gases . Standard models are made with a bleached cotton media and a tinned steel core . Typical applications are gas dewatering/desulfuring and breathing systems
